On November 19, the company successfully delivered itsfirst A-tank at the Longxue Plant. This milestone achievement marks a key breakthrough for the company in the field of liquid cargo tanks.

The A-tank delivered this time is a core component of the largest liquefied gas vessel project currently under construction by the parent company, Huangpu Wenchong. It is a key part of a three-vessel order—each with a capacity of 48,000 cubic meters of LPG—custom-built for the Greek shipowner Benelux Overseas. The tank measures 40.8 meters × 29.2 meters × 18.6 meters and has a capacity of up to 16,340 cubic meters. Its enormous size and complex structure place extremely high demands on manufacturing processes.

Facing numerous technical challenges during project advancement, with the support and assistance of Huangpu Wenchong Company, our technical team—thanks to their outstanding professionalism and tenacious spirit of overcoming difficulties—successfully tackled each core challenge one by one. In response to the stringent requirement that all weld seams on the outer plating of the entire compartment must undergo full RT inspection, the team meticulously controlled every single process and rigorously ensured quality, ultimately successfully completing the fabrication of the first A compartment.

The smooth delivery of the first A-tank has accumulated valuable practical experience for the subsequent manufacturing of liquefied cargo tanks. Moving forward, the company will continue to enhance its expertise in liquefied cargo tank manufacturing, thereby supporting Huangpu Wenchong Company’s expansion into the large-scale LNG vessel business.
